MyTricopter 2.0

Hi there,

This is my second attempt at building a tricopter. First version took ages to print and wasn't worth to share...

This one gives quite a satisfactory flying feeling...

Here is the stuff I used to assemble it:

  • 2204 motor (3)
  • 12 A ESC (3)
  • 6X4.5 Prop (3)
  • 155X10mm hollow aluminum rod (2)
  • 255X10mm hollow aluminum rod (1)
  • 37X5 mm spacers (Diatone)
  • Ball bearing 5mm/2.5mm (2) & 2.5 mm screw (2) (Those are used to assemble the rear motor mount)
  • CC3D (fits any FC of the same size... like NAZE32)
  • RX
  • Micro-servo (1) (servo arm & small stuff needed to attach it to the motor mount)
  • 3S 1300/1800 mA battery
  • a few M3 screws & nuts, plastic clamps and velcro...

You'll also find the file for a Fatshark 600 TVL FPV camera mount. (speaking about FPV, I strap my video RX on the rear leg of the tricopter...) Keep also in mind that the front plates of the body feature holes you could use to mount your own custom cam mount...

(The mount for the hummingbird cam you can see on the picture is not available... this one doesn't work really well...)

I recommend medium infills for all the parts except for the legs that are kind of disposable (light infills)... The whole stuff is designed to be quickly reprinted in case you need spare parts...

The legs are designed to snap away when crashing... you just need to clip them on the arms and put a tiny drop of glue to make sure they stay in place while flying...

If you're more interested in this thingie, I'll keep the original 123design files available to you!

Cheers!
