Summary

A friend designed a shield for a Particle Photon to connect to a 16x32 RGB matrix panel. This is a backing frame to hide the electronics and add stability to the panel with an enclosure over the shield.

Instructions

Print all 3 pieces. frame-b.stl will require supports.
The two flat pieces go on the back of the panel with the tabs overlapping. Align the cutouts in the pieces to match the connectors on the panel. There are two little nibs on the panels with corresponding holes on the bottom of the frame.
Attach the frame to the panel using the screw mounts from the panel.
Assemble the shield and put it on the panel over the frame.
Push the enclosure into place.

Please note! These panels are remainder stock from factories that make huge light boards. For that reason, the look, LED tint, power cable style and length, and precise size might vary from batch to batch, even though the basic operation, codebase and tutorial is the same.
