arduino nano
uln2803 driver (you could use 3 transistor instead)
rgb stripe (60 pieces per meter, using 21pieces on 35cm cut)
halleffect sensor (TLE4905L) and a neodym magnet (3x2mm) for sync
motor comes from an old cd-rom drive
rtc module with ds1307
