Replacement knob for LG gas range

Imagine a gas range that has nice-looking knobs that break in about a year, and standard replacement knobs don't fit. Replacement knobs are available for over USD $100 each - that doesn't make sense for a range you can get on clearance for around $600 new.

These knobs should fit tightly on the knob stems and should be fairly easy to clean.
