Instructions

I Have been using this great spool holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17473) on top of my Mendel. It works great except for the 180 degree bend the filament needs to travel to get from the spool to the intake of the filament drive. Due to the weight of the spool when the filament drive was extruding, the slack in the filament was taken up and would get jammed.

I tried many solutions including a couple of guides here on thingiverse. None of which particularly worked. So i made a mash up.

As well as the printed parts you will need:

2 x 1/8" BSP Push connectors
1 x 20cm PTFE Tube 4mm OD, 2mm ID (for 1.75mm Filament)
4 x m3 screws and nuts

Its fairly obvious how to put it together and it works a charm. I havent had any jams since!
