Spectronic 20 Cuvette Adapter
This is an alternative to the expensive piece of plastic used to adapt the short square cuvettes to the square hole adapter in the Spectronic 20 series of old school spectrophotometer. The market (eBay) is flooded with these devices but the down side is that most are not adapted for square cuvettes and fewer still come with the plastic adapter that allows for the use of short standard 12.5mm cuvettes. Some sites sell an adapter silimar to this one for up to $73 USD. That is way overprices for what it is and what its made of. This is my gift to the biohacker on a shoestring budget or the inspired student wishing to do some science at home. Enjoy!
NOTE: You need a spectrophotometer WITH a square hole adapter already built in. Some sites do sell these which allow you to swap out your round hole one.
