I ended up with several rolls of PLA , looking for a suitable solution on the net did produce any fruitful results, so i designed my own ..

Features:

Knob to set temperature desired - top from 0 to 300 degrees - Fahrenheit option available !
Hot end switching to reach temp with sensor connected to stabilise it

can be used with the fiament fuser http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1656353

Safety feature : knob all to the left will switch off the heater .. display shows off ..
