Summary

Need a terminal block to splice up to 4 wires together but don't feel like making a trip to the hardware shop? Just print your own in about 30 minutes.

Instructions

I printed using solidest fill and finest detail.

On the side with the clips, put a thin layer of blu tack along the middle of the inside of the block. Then put big blobs in each of the 8 holes. This is to keep the wires in position when you push the clip together.

Once this is done put 4 small squares of aluminum foil between each pair of holes where the splice is to occur.

Line up each pair of wires and push into position using a small screwdriver, then line up the other piece and clip the part together. After a single use while developing this, the clips on my part snapped off but I was able to fix this with more blu tack.

This is a pretty basic emergency cable splicing technique - can't really recommend it over $1 terminal block from the store ;-)
