Summary

This filament spool holder is a derivative of the 'filament spool holder - triangle frame by andrewfrueh.

The triangle frame is a Huxley frame and uses Huxley feet. The frame can be made to any dimensions using different length threaded rods.

The spoke slots and bolt holes were modified for to be M6 size (6mm).

4 x frame_vertex_foot.stl - Feet and bottom vertexes of the support frame traingles
2 x frame_vertex_M6_and_M8.stl - Top vertex for support frame. Center hole is 8mm to accept the M8 Top support frame span
2 x spool-hub.stl - Houses the 608 bearings and connects the spokes
6 x spool-spoke_M6.stl

Threaded rods
6 x Support frame triangle sides - M6 300 mm - To create the triangles for the frame. You can change the length of these to adjust the height of the frame. Just make the rods all the same length. Ensure the frame you create is tall enough to allow the spool assembly to freely rotate.
2 x Bottom support frame spans - M6 150 mm - To span between the two bottom corners of the frame triangle. These determine how far apart the frame triangles will be. You can change the size of these to suit the amount of filament you want to put on the spool. I'd recommend they are at least 150mm.
1 x Top support frame span - M8 150 mm - Spans the top of the frame triangle. Acts as an axle for the spool assembly bearings. Make this the same length as the two bottom support frame spans.
3 x Spoke spans - M6 85mm - Spans between the spokes to hold the filament. Can be substituted with M6 80mm bolts or pan-head set screws

Other hardware
2 x 608 Bearing
18 x M6 Pan-head machine screw - 16 mm - (I used 20mm screws as that's what I had handy but 16mm recommended as they will fit better inside the hub)
32 x M6 Hex nut - Add flat washers for each if you like (I didn't bother). Used to connect the spokes to the hub and the feet and top vertices to the support frame rods.
6 x M8 Hex nut
2 x M8 Large Washers (Sometimes called 'repair washers'). - Used to stop the hub screw heads catching on the frame supports at the top. )
