Summary

This tool is measuring filament thickness in-line with production. I have always wanted to make a web cam based solution to reading LCD's . Now I finally got to make it.

Instructions

Print parts (modify before if they do not fit you caliper)
Take the sliders (left and right) mount the bearings on the bolt and assembly each of the "beaks" onto the caliper beaks.
Add the cam plate to the cam mounting clamp and add the clamp to the caliper
Make and mount the dowels with the 2.5 mm hole
Make wooden support and mount lower beak to it
Mount wooden support onto the wood base.

I would have made a printable version but did not have the time - thus wood base and mounts. Further the wood is not heat sensitive as PLA would be. But time is the main reason for all the wood work.
