Wargaming Round Lipped bases for Mantic Miniatures and similar, 25mm and 20mm

Over the years of collecting wargaming miniatures, I have come to dislike square bases. After I was introduced to the round lipped base some years ago, I have preferred that style to other styles of bases.

I have a load of older Mantic fantasy miniatures with little 15mm flat round integral bases, and mounting these on regular square 20mm to rank up means both having to use square bases that I do not like the look of, and needing to take alot of care when ranking up so the fit next to each other on the movement tray. Round 20mm with 15mm recess not being available as far as I have seen.

My solution to this is to make my own bases.

Here is a 25mm and a 20mm round base with chamfered edges, that have a recess to fit the smaller mantic integral base.

So now I have have my preferred round lipped style of base, with the official footprint-sized rankability for my Mantic troops for Kings of War.

Bonus effect; The round bases make the minis much easier to rank up, just rotate a little here and there to make them fit better next to one another.
