Flyfun V5 160A HV Opto fan mount
Fan mount for Hobbywing Flyfun V5 160A and 130A HV OPTO ESCs. Designed for use with a 40mm Hobbywing Platinum V4 fan but should work with any 40mm fan that has 32mm mounting hole spacing. With Hobbywing fan M3 14mm screws are used other fans may need differing lenght screws. Check to make sure the screws do not interfere with the heatsink on the ESC. M3 nylock nuts are interference fit and install permanently into the holes (tighten the screw to pull the nut into the hole). There are three different versions of the fan mount, one with countersink screws that install from the bottom to be attached to a surface with double back adhesive tape, one with plain through holes where the ESC and fan mount are both screwed down to the mounting surface and a version for the Rush 750 (or any heli with a 46mm wide frame). On the countersink and Rush versions of the ESC mount you will need a small adjustable wrench to hold the nylock nuts in place at the battery end as there is not enough clearance between the nut and the side of the ESC for a nut driver there.
4/11/17 Added TSA Infusion 700 version. This version uses the switch mount cutouts in the side frames (original ESC mount must be removed). The distance between the fan mount and the ESC has also been reduced by 3mm in this version and the bottom plate has been increased from 3mm thick to 4mm. I used a Yeah Racing 40mm fan (I had to replace the JST plug with a servo plug) and 14mm screws which left about 1mm clearance between the end of the fan screws and the top of the heatsink. Mounting screws for the ESC are countersink screws and install from the back. I ran the ESC's throttle lead between the back of the ESC mount and the vertical frame brace. Because of this it was also necessary to use a short extension on the programming lead (I have uploaded pictures of the installation)
