This thing generates a nameplate for your Vorpal Combat Hexapod.

You DO NOT need openSCAD (although you can use it if you have it). Instead, click the "Open in Customizer" button above and Thingiverse will generate a custom STL with the name you enter!

How I Designed This

This was, of course, designed in OpenSCAD. I imported one of the sample nameplate files supplied by Vorpal, and kept working on the SCAD code until it matched.

Centering and Spacing your Name

The code DOES NOT center the text.

The code puts as many, or as few, letters as you specify in the nameplate area. It will cram them together, or space them apart, depending on how many you specify.

Six to Seven characters seem to work best. For shorter names, try entering blanks before and after the name. This will help force the letters together.
