Car-Phone-Cup-Holder v1

Superseded by version 2.

Designed to fit a 68mm+ diameter cup-holder, and phone(+case) up to 12mm thick.

STL files:
'base' - cup-holder part
'hooks' - 2 x lower (mate with base) + 2 x upper (linked to lower hooks via rubberbands or zip-lock ties, if required).

I didn't need to use the 'upper' hooks - the 'lower' hooks were sufficient by themselves.

To assemble, friction weld the 'lower' hooks into the slots in the base.

To find out more about friction welding PLA, see: http://makezine.com/projects/make-34/skill-builder-finishing-and-post-processing-your-3d-printed-objects/

UPDATE: I made my one in black PLA and this afternoon discovered that the base had buckled in the heat/sun inside the car. I'd recommend thickening base plate and/or using ABS instead of PLA (or maybe white PLA/ABS?).
