Gherkin (Ortholinear Keyboard) Spacebar Sandwich Case
30% keyboards are ridiculous. everyone knows you need 31 keys for a functional keyboard.
Luckily, if you've got a Gherkin, you can use this skirt to add an extra, stabilized 2u spacebar below the bottom row! This part fits between the two plates, with or without most of the standoffs installed.
Like many of my other prints, the tolerances on this part are very tight; I had to scale everything by 1% before things would fit correctly. Both a scaled and unscaled STL are provided, as well as the SCAD if you need to jigger more numbers. The SCAD is pretty messy due to how many iterations I had to go through to get everything to fit.
there is a shapeways link here, but I am unsure of the shrinkage exhibited in their prints. If you do actually purchase one and it doesn't fit, please message me and I'll print you one that does to replace it.
By popular request, I've added a 2x1u and 0x0u version as well!
