Ikea Make Shelf Stand

Shelf stand for IKEA Ekby LAIVA shelf. I got the stand from Ikea for a whopping $3.50!

The assembly consists of the letters and top and bottom piece. The top piece slots into the shelf. Both the top and bottom piece has an interlocking feature. For clearance, I allowed .25mm gap all around, so .5 total if the feature shifts all the way to one side. In certain areas, it was a slip fit, others, a light interference depending on your printer's accuracy.

Assemble with super glue for all pieces. For the shelf, I put some double sided tape on the side.

Sliced with MatterControl. Using the standard PLA settings. 30% infill for all parts.

Filaments used: Hatcbox Black PLA and 3d Solutech Ultra PLA Blue. If you use the Ultra PLA, I would say have a 1.8mm layers of top surfaces to achieve a really nice finish. Any less, you might get bubbling/roughness.
