Percect Fit Ubertooth Slim Friction Case
I really wanted a snug-fitting minimal case for my Great Scott Gadgets Ubertooth, but couldn't find one that fit the bill, so I designed this in Tinkercad. It has a perfectly snug fit and the usb header and antenna base are flush with the ends of the case.
Added v4, slightly improved model with smoother antenna barrel. This is the very snug version, so feedback welcome if you feel this is too tight for your liking.
File is public on Tinkercad if you want to tweak it - I'd love a note if you find something to improve! https://www.tinkercad.com/things/krRXfcgaito-ubertooth-friction-case-v4
To print without supports, rotate the design 90 degrees so the model is vertical with the largest flat face to the bed. Precise machines can print without brim, but add 2-3mm if your machine likes to knock thin builds over, or to print with greater speed.
Printed on a Mk3 with no rafts, brim, or supports at 0.2mm layer height in PETG with the default settings.
Also prints wonderfully on my Maker Select V2 in PLA with a small brim.
Later pictures are of the first draft, the first four photos show the final revision with flat base.
