[Nearly] Screwless E3Dv5/Bowden mount for QU-BD's One Up/Two Up
This is a quick and dirty CAD fuse of two great things - MacAttak's brilliant E3D mount and Lonuf's excellent bearing holder. The mount snaps right on the bearings and the E3D slides right in. Things are light enough that no additional fasteners are needed, but zip-ties are recommended around the bearings (Lonuf's holder has holes for them).
The mount works perfectly for me and gave me 5 cm more build height compared to what I had before (for a total of 15 cm in theory). In addition, it allowed me to go lower on the Z screw which really improved the banding in my case.
You'll need a filament drive, but there are lots of those available. I'm currently using the one from GUS Simpson.
EDIT: I forgot about the screws for the fan, but besides those it's screwless....
EDIT2: Full disclosure: I'm still really struggling to get good prints using Bowden, but I think my filament drive and Slic3r settings are the culpits.
EDIT3: E3Dv6 was just released and it looks like it might not fit in this mount.
