This is a poseable modular, magnetic robot toy. Make it, share it, sell it, trade it, upgrade it.

Instructions

I'm working on an instructable to show how the toy is assembled, which can be found here:

And here's the short version:

Download and print the .stl files.

Cut 2 2cm lengths of 4mm diameter dowels. Hot glue them into the shoulder and wrist joints.

Hot glue #4 (I think that was the size) countersunk finishing washers into the large cylindrical recesses on the pieces.

Hot glue 5mm diameter spherical magnets into the hemispherical recesses. Align the poles properly by holding the magnet in one of the finishing washers as you glue the magnets in place.

Assemble all of the pieces to make a Davincibot!

I have also attached the .scad file so that you can make changes. It should be mostly parametric. Also, the smile on the robot's head is generated randomly, so each time you render it, you will create a unique robot head.
