I use a protective cover on my switch. However, I hate removing it so that I can dock it. This is my solution.

The Printing

The base stand is at a 45-degree angle. Turn on supports.

The cap is not needed but looks better.

IMPORTANT

It was brought to my attention that Nintendo uses non-standard power. However, I've tested it with Zelda BotW and have had good results. I insured my Switch. Thus, I will continue using it with other games to test it out. I will add more to it, but it will remain in Work-In-Progress until I feel it is fairly safe.
