Foam Dart Mag: NAKM - Not A Katana Mag
Update Version 3-1: Minor dimension/tolerancing problems fixed but untested. Next step is to fix the slotting system since the screws don't quite work, and superglue alone is a bad method due to lack of constraints on the alignment.
Update: Project semi-abandoned because of how well Talons work, as well as the fact that I'm currently going back to an older blaster platform as my primary. Will get back to this if I feel like the plastic and time for a 2nd prototype is worth it.
NAKM is my experimental half length mag project. These are two mags in one, able to hold twice as many darts as an equivalently sized full length mag! They are designed around Workers but should fit many other short length darts.
Very much WIP, DO NOT PRINT, tolerances are still untested on the mag's connecting tabs and the sliding door. The rest of it appears to be working remarkably well.
Compatible with the Foamblast rollup spring.

Other springs untested and unsupported. I recommend editing the follower and base of the mag if you want to use such springs.
Estimated capacity: 25 darts per channel, for a total of 50 darts. Will know for sure later as I do further testing.
Warning: The mag's lips are extended so that they can reliably feed both channels. This will result in incompatibility with the majority of blasters, unless the blasters' shells are cleared out so that the lip fits. The rest of the mag should be fairly cross-compatible - I've verified that it fits in a Longshot, Rapidstrike, and Hailfire. Eventually I will edit the mag receivers for various blasters such as the Caliburn to be compatible with this mag and upload them. (See the edited dart jam on my Recalibrator mod - The captive nut spreader part needs to be modified though.)
Uploaded early for the purposes of showing work in progress, and to allow others to mess with the design if they wish. Expect significant overhauls to some parts of the design, and proper documentation as the project develops. I do not have ETA's nor a timetable on this project, unfortunately, as I have other things to take care of.
Thanks to Thantacles and Tobu for the KaThanha and Katobu mags. These designs inspired several decisions I made for this project.
