Remote Manipulator
This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/b99D1Dh9kGR
I ran out of space on the Tinkercad page to add more description, so more is added here. The Tinkercad page has grouped parts colored so it is easier to understand. You can also make a copy on Tinkercad and ungroup parts to see how they are put together.
Remote Manipulator (aka Hot Cell Manipulator) to be made out of 2x2 boards. To be used for a lichtenberg wood burning activity open to the public. With more work, this could be a fun little activity at events on its own.
The cylinders are rotation axis. The grouped parts are to be bolted together solidly. Weight might have to be added as counterweights so the user doesn't have to lift as much weight.
Inspired by this design:

And Grid Beam:

Read all Millimeter dimensions as inches. 2x2 dimensional lumber is actually 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch.
Suggested additions:
-Gripper/grabber
-Wrist twist
Please do not blame me if something goes wrong when used for actual hot cell manipulator.
