Summary

I found that the little wire clip that is used to connect separate IKEA BILLY bookcases to be a bit loose, and it didn't take much to make them come apart. This clip fits nicely in the holes on top of the bookcase, and allows them to stay snug and in place.

How I Designed This

I measured the hole diameters, as well as the distance between the two units when in place, with my calipers. Using these measurements, I designed the clip in TinkerCAD and created the STL file.
