K8200 Micrometric Z home switch

Inspired from

and

I have designed an own solution as combination of both approaches. I have sliced with cura because of the inner diameter bug of slic3r. There is one critical zone which would support material normally. I have printed without support material (see picture - no risc no fun ;-) ). Could be that you need support material if you use an other slicer. The Micrometer I have used I shoot on Ebay for 5 EUR. The smaller Microscrews which are normally foreseen for this kind of machines are about 25EUR or more. The Microscrew I got has not the best quality. The hole for fixing screw is not drilled 90° so it looks bad but it works.

Edit:
The Thingview looks like the hole for mounting screw is missed. In Designspark the hole is ok and Cura slices it correctly. No clue what happen there

You need:

  • 2 M3x20 screws with nuts for the switch
  • 1 M3 screw for fixing the micrometre in mount
  • 1 M4 Screw (perfect would be one with grip profile) for fixing the micrometre after setup Z

all other things you can use from original solution
