Mars_Dome

This is not just an outpost is more an little town under a double walled glas dome.

The room between the shells of the dome are filled with an temperatur isolating gas under pressur so its easy to
detect an defect in one of the shells so you can fix it befor any harm decompressing happens
the room between the shells can be serviced with ROV´s

The outer shell is build of hexagon glas panels with photovoltaik moduls to reduce the intensety
of uv light and also it produces power at the daytime

The inner shell is build of hexagon glas panels with an uv reflecting metal coating and lcd
crystals to bring the uv intensety to an normal level.
And it also redueces the electro magnetic interferences from solarstorms etc.

The botom of the dome is filled with water (found as ice on mars). In the water grows alges to produce oxigen
and the water makes it also possible to breed fish.

In one of the 3 buildings are the living rooms of the colony, in the second are lab´s
in the third is the technic

1. hydrogen powerplant wich splits at the day water to oxigen and hydrogen
   compresses it to liquid (lower space for store) at the night it produces power and it also producess warm water
   (from the cooling circuit) for the heating of the dome
2. An sewage plant wich clears the water for re-use, the mud would be used an the fields as fertilizer

The pole in the middle of the Dome is an elevator und airlock for service the antennas

The complete dome is an micro self-sufficient ecological system wich after asemble no more
delivers from earths needs

If you want to take an walk on the mars just use one of the airlocks on the sides of the dome ^^
