Summary

I was missing a set of Atlas Craftsman Model TH54 10F 10" 12" Lathe Wiper Caps so I designed a pair that incorporated oil cups to keep the felt wipers oiled for longer.

As a hobby machinist I use my lathe very lightly, so having a reservoir means that the ways are more likely to remain perfectly lubricated, even if seldom used.

How I Designed This

I designed this in Google Sketchup using a small piece of card (which was scanned for correct size) as a template on which to build the digital model.
