Wyze / Roku Pan Tilt camera Low Profile mount / inverted use possible.
This is a hobby project, and even though it works fine for me, Using this mount is at your own risk, especially using the camera outside like I have. This mount will not protect the camera in any way from wet weather, heat, cold or humidity
This is a very low profile mount for the WYZE Pan Tilt Security Camera, and can be used to mount the camera upside down. This uses a standard Tripod mount, so it may be able to be used for other things.
To use this mount, it needs a hex bolt that is 1/4 inch diameter shaft by 20 thread and exact length of 1/2 an inch for the shaft. I bought mine at True Value (I highly recommend a bolt that will not rust.) See the photos for exact dimensions. You will also need three screws, I used Sheetrock screws.
When the part is printed (takes about half an hour with 20 percent infill) take your Hex Bolt and screw it from the wrong side to clear the hole. When done put it in the other way as far as it will go. Then align the head to the mount and press it in place (I designed this to be tight) if you cannot push it in all the way, place the bolt head down on a strong hard surface and press the mount down until the head is flush. Then screw the mount onto the camera until it is tightly in place (not tight enough to damage the motor,) Now take a marker and mark the side of the mount where the Micro USB port lines up. This will make it easier to know where the back of the camera should be. Remove the mount from the camera and install (you may want to use a pilot drill (be careful and avoid any wires or pipes.) You can now screw your camera on until it is firmly in place.
