Solder fume extractor carbon filter
In our R&D and prototyping work sometimes we have a lot of soldering. Every one who solders some PCBs for a few hours knows that the fumes are not the funniest part of this work especially if soldered with acid as a flux.
So there is a lot of easy to print and assemble designs of soldering fume extractors but:
- most all designs are made with axial fans
- there are only a few designs that have exhaust sleeve (improves mobility)
- there are only a few designs with good absorber head
