Foldable Camera Tripod Remix

This is a remix of Foldable Camera Tripod, Gopro/SJCAM compatible by Starscream83.
I really liked this model for it's simple legs. Some tripods here on Thingiverse have sophisticated legs with an open frame. This kind of frame is nice but takes longer to print due to the higher number of outer walls.

I made a set of longer legs. The original tripod is 98mm high. The new legs make it 176mm high.

I also remixed the base to add a hole in the middle:

• for a ¼-20 screw
• for a M4 screw

Instructions from Starscream83:

For the pivot joints you can either use 4mm dowel pins or M4 screws.Print the mount in a laying position otherwise it breaks too easy.

Keep in mind it will be more easy to break the base with the longer legs.

Edit 2020-04-05:

• Added thumbs bolts. You will need one ¼-20 x 1½" hex or carriage bolt (pick the right thumb bolt).
• Added 100mm 40 degrees legs for better stability. The original legs are 60 degrees.
