Insert the engraving bit into the tool, add the nut and chuck. Insert it into the spindle and tighten by hand. If you want you can then use an 11 mm spanner to tighten it further.

I printed it in 0,1 mm layer height. take care that your printer is well calibrated, since the hole for the bit has a very tight tolerance to help reduce runout.

If you adjusted your head correctly the tool should just about clear the bit once put on the MDF.
