Turnigy 9XR Dual Accessory Mount (GoPro compatible)

What this is

This is a hard point to mount two accessories to a Turnigy 9XR transmitter's handle bar. The interface is compatible to GoPro mounts and provides one mount facing away (e.g. for an antenna) and one facing towards the user (e.g. for a telemetry or FPV screen).

How to mount it

The mount fits the lower shell of the radio's outer casing fairly well and can be firmly mounted while allowing the upper shell to be still removable (to allow for future/other modifications of the 9XR).

The mount can either be simply glued to the lower shell (I used Sugru, but epoxy or hot glue might work as well), or it can be bolted on for a more assuring fix. (There is a 5 mm hole allowing for a pan or other round head screw to be inserted from the inside of the radio's case, mating with an M5 nut sitting in the fitted recess on the mount.)
There is an additional wire guiding clip on the underside, but when the print direction is set for mount strength (i.e. parallel to the GoPro interface), the clip is printed in a not-so-strong direction, i.e. it can (ok, most likely will) break easily. (I used a little Sugru to reinforce the primarily stressed bend and achieved very good results.)
