Summary

A 3d printable sight for a recurve bow. Designed to be assembled with screws from local hardware store and 3D printed parts.
This is still a work in progress. Version 2 is being printed this week and will be tested on Wed (9/10/2014). Will update when I see how it turns out. V2 uses the pin sight from v1.

Version 1

This is a work in progress. I tested this version over the weekend. These are the results that I have found so far.

Not stiff enough. The arm vibrated side to side.
There was a dead zone where you can't set the pin sight.
It is way to time consuming to adjust the sight. The sight has to basically be taken apart to adjust.
On my bow the sight attaches to the riser with 10-24 screws.
The pin sight is designed based on this design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:150680). I adjusted the size of the hole to fit a 10-24 screws. It tore slightly when the 10-24 screw was inserted.
The next design will be designed to allow for easier sight adjustment.

Version 2

I may have gone a bit overkill with Version 2. It is definitely going to be stiffer. It may be more than needed. Will shoot it tomorrow night (9/10/2014) and see how it goes. This version is adjustable without dismantling. The slider doesn't quite fit. I would wait for Version 3.
