Instructions

Print both the inner and outer hubs, slide the outer hub into your filament spool, and then slide the inner hub into the other end. Its tabs should friction fit inside the outer hub. It is designed to work with the brackets from the original thing from which this was remixed.
I loved the original spool support and holder (the first useful thing I printed), but when I got new filament spools, the dimensions were different. I'd been playing with OpenSCAD, so I reproduced it from scratch, but kept it parameterized to make it easy to adjust to new spools.
The parameters you are most likely to need to change are grouped at the beginning of the file. Then, one at a time, uncomment the outerHub and innerHub in the list of top level calls at the bottom of the file, and export STL for each.
The spool dimensions for the STL files provided are:
