Each is processed to allow 3D printing with no supports, and with all spires thickened to allow correct slicing (when printed in mm). The 1:10000 scale model is designed to match all 8"x8" MiniCity 3D printed cities. The 1:7500 scale version all 12"x12" 3d printed cities, the 1:6250 version all 16"x16", and the 1:5000 scale version all 24"x24" 3D printed cities. See our 3D printed city artworks at https://minicity.art/shop
We recommend printing two of these at a time, so that the very small layers in the top spire of the Burj Khalifa have time to solidify before being printed upon again. And if you're feeling daring, cut the bottom plate off this model before printing, and each building will be independent.
Thank you to all building modellers who came before me! Please follow the links to the original models if you want better-resolution meshes. (We would have done a remix, but we're only allowed to tag one original model!)
Enjoy!
