Carbon Nanotube OpenSCAD (128 models)

These model made can be used as educational set of carbon nanotubes for material science classes.

The file with the * .XYZ extension was downloaded from the site http://www.nanotube.msu.edu/tubeASP/ in this file the dimension of an angstrom, and the length of the bond is 1.42, when scaling 5, the length of the bond = 7.1mm

I choose to scale models for print in 5 times.
So that
C-C bond diameter 3.5mm
C-atom diameter 3mm

$fn=20 and 15 (model nt-8-9 of 868 atoms took 80minuts to render file)
all files render about 80 hours.

scad files in zip folders:
1_HIRAL(1,2) to (10,10).zip - 108 files for 1 cycle
2_only ARMCHAIR (2,2) to (20,20).zip 19 files for 2,5,10 cycles
3_only ZIGZAG (3,0) to (20,0).zip 18 files for 2,5,10 cycles

added (5,0) , (5,5) as STL files

interesting fact. if you dress up a Christmas tree, you get a very original scientific tree decorated with carbon nanomaterials )
