5mm Led Cap / Diffuser (Round & Arc Style)

Led Caps Introduction

These tiny led caps can be used with 5mm standard leds to get a more diffused light. There are two designs available in a rounded version and as well in an arc style version.

The regular stl files are a bit bigger and can be clued on a surface and go over every 5mm led. To make them 100% fitting the scale needs to be adjusted. In the opposite I tried a lot and improved the design to a slim version with an aspheric opening. This will fit to some led bulbs (most ones that I use).

Material

Best printed with translucent material (pla) or white/natural (abs). Less infill, as more you will see from the structure.

• added slim versions (most leds needs to be pushed harder into)
