Instructions

First, print the lump of coal

sized to 60%--no supports. Print in black or paint black.

Print the base w Santa sized to 70%. Use no supports. At 44% completion, pause and get the print head out of the way (call for filament change on Makerbot), then insert the coal and continue printing. If you can't pause your printer, try printing a square tower at the same time as Santa (away from Santa). At 44%, while the printer is working on the tower, quickly drop the lump of coal in.

When complete, there will be a few "strings" to remove; but it's better than dealing with supports.

Paint Santa and deliver the ornament to the appropriate person.
