Summary

simple case for khadas vim2 sbc computer.
needs a little work, but a decent enough starting point for anyone to build from. made in a hurry. will provide a new design iteration next time i need to revisit it but this is working for me for now.

Post-Printing

Some tips

            <div><p>for the lid, i printed it 'tall' with the small square side on the print bed.<br>for the base i printed it sitting laid flat out with the large rectangle side on the print bed.</p><p>The lid had some corner lift, despite a brim, and it may have contributed to a de-coupling of layers in one corner with some pressure on it. could be fixed with careful scale up in slicer even. when adhered to print bed as described above, scale it in the shorter of the two, X, Y axes. (z axis being the tallest here). Should only need 101% or 1% increase.</p><p>there were no vim 2 cases here, and i needed one so i built this quick and rough. </p></div>

How I Designed This

blender 3d software

            <div><p>designed in blender 3d.<br>measured with calipers.<br>then imported a cell phone photo as uv texture to get placements on all ports, etc. which were not critical importance at this stage of design anyway.<br>converted to stl.<br>printed with cura 4.9.1 on ender 3 v 2<br>cheap PLA from 3d printing canada. </p></div>
