DeWalt DW708 Miter Saw Dust Assembly Replacement

We all know how DeWalt's dust collecting assembly sucks, so here's my attempt at fixing this.

While my unit manages to collect most sawdust, it comes with a huge compromise involving cuts along the vertical plane, which might be a deal breaker for some users.

Because I don't do much work involving crown molding, I have no issues using this assembly. I think most of us use our sliding saws as chop saws anyway, so most of us will not be affected by this limitation.
