While these models can be printed with a single material, as of right now, you will have to delete the parts that are meant to be printed in a different color!

Right now, this is just the large base and lid with the names of the monsters. Soon, I will add the medium and small lids.

The large lid, in addition to having the names of the monsters has 2mm of extra height.

All lids have thicker sides (1.8mm up from 1.0mm).

Printing Tips

No supports are needed.

A print-height of 0.2mm is recommended

Print nozzels of 0.4mm width are recommended.

You should tune your printer to have accurate first-layer sizing (called elephant foot compensation in Sli3r based slicers)

How to print without MMU/AMS (multi-material)

How to print LIDS without multi material

This is pretty simple:

  1. Print at 0.2mm height (you can do different heights, but you will need to do your own math)
  2. Remove all of the letters from the lid, leaving just the lid with letter cut-outs (I will eventually upload a version without letters)
  3. Add either a pause or color change in-between layers 2 and 3 (after your print has reached 0.4mm in height)
  4. Add another pause or color change in-between layers 3 and 4 (after your print has reached 0.6mm in height)
  5. Print the lid, swapping out colors at each pause.
  6. You should now be able to see the text clearly in a different color! Congrats!

How to print the BASES without Multi-Material

This is pretty complex since there are various heights you would have to add in pauses. Your best bet is to simply delete the letters, leaving the base with letter cut-outs and then manually paint/draw in the cavities where the letters are.

If you insist on doing color changes, you will have a hard time, but I will still leave instructions.
