Wall-mounted phone stand on shoulder
Hello everyone!
Today I would like to present to you my first more complicated project that I have created. This is a phone stand that I designed with the idea of recording in my workshop the crazy things I create :). I'm very proud of what I've created, I hope you will also like it, and it will perform the function it was created for.... at me it is fulfilling! ;D
List of parts and some tips for printing and finishing:
a) Printed parts:
- ARM_A - 1x
- ARM_B - 1x
- NUT_HEAD - 1x
- PHONE_MOUTH_BOTTOM - 1x
- PHONE_MOUTH_TOP - 1x
- TOOL - 1x
- WALL_MOUTH - 1x
b) Screws:
- Screw M5 50mm - 1x (can be longer)
- Screw M5 30mm - 1x
- Screw M5 20mm - 2x
- Screw 4.0X20mm - 4x
c) Nuts
- Nut M5 - 4x
d) Tools
- Hammer
- Wallpaper knife
- Vise
- Drill/screwdriver
I printed the whole thing at 0.3 resolution and with supports enabled. The "PHONE_MOUTH_BOTTOM" part is best printed horizontally with supports "everywhere" turned on. After printing, the supports in the cylinder can be hard to remove, however, there is a way to do it. Take the printed part "PHONE_MOUTH_BOTTOM", which is fixed gently in a vise, then take an M5 30mm screw, apply it to the support and use a hammer to knock it out. Now the support should come out without a problem. Next, using the printed "TOOL" tool, we need to clean the inside of the cylinder from the remnants of the support, so that the "PHONE_MOUTH_TOP" part goes in easily. We take the printed tool, put it in the drill/driver like a drill, and then in a reciprocating motion we clean both cylinders. Finally, we mount everything and voilà, our stand is finish!
Enjoy ;)
