Summary

All piece designs are the same as the original. However, hollow bases have been added to each piece to allow for the addition of weights. You may use whatever weights you wish, but I sized the bases to fit the following:

Pawns: 2 U.S. Pennies (5.0g)
Rooks: 2 U.S. Nickels (10.0g)
Knights: 2 U.S. Nickels (10.0g)
Bishops: 2 U.S. Nickels (10.0g)
Queen: 3 U.S. Nickels (15.0g)
King: 3 U.S. Nickels (15.0g)

Successfully printed on an Ender 3 with glass bed.

Several of my prints were ruined because they came loose midway through.  I ended up using a glue stick to help the parts stay on.  Your results will vary, but I recommend brims on the inside and out to help with bed adhesion.</p><p>The original author mentioned excessive stringing between the struts.  For me, stringing is best managed by carefully selecting the best print temperature for your filament.  Again, your results may vary. If you encounter this problem though, try printing a temperature tower as an aid for temperature selection.</p></div>
