DIY Suspended Watch Timegrapher
The idea with this is to create a stand to hold a watch suspended in the air and take readings. This will theoretically eliminate any and all outside sounds and vibrations. The piezo will eliminate outside sounds, while the suspended design will remove outside vibrations. To the extent of my knowledge, this will provide results similar in accuracy to professional grade Timegraphers at a fraction of the cost!
PLEASE NOTE:
While the model is technically done and ready to be printed, I still plan on developing this page further later on. I ran out of filament and need to create the piezo module myself to ensure everything is working correctly before I call this project officially done. When I can do all that I will try and make a tutorial video showing how to assemble everything together, get readings, and generally make everything work. Along with links to the non-3D printed parts you need. If you feel confident in your abilities you can try making this right now as it is, but I would suggest waiting until I complete the tutorial stuff to eliminate as much confusion as possible.
