HDZero Goggles, Mount for Helical Antenna

One of the nice things about FPV antennae on stiff coax (like RG402) is that they can be bent to point at a required angle.

However, the HDZero goggles SMA connectors are soldered to PCBs. and this provides the main part of their support. It is possible if sufficient force is applied to rip the connector off the PCB (along with the tracks it was soldered to)

To try and address this I have created a simple rail clip which allows a light patch lead (RG316) to run from it to the SMA connector, thus stopping any force applied to an antenna using RG402 cable being applied to the goggle SMA connector.

This is a very early iteration so, possibly will get some tweaks if needed.

The lead needs to be at least 90mm long and works well as an SMA female to right angle SMA male.

Note that there is a clip to hold the SMA female in place. This should be glued to the underside of the clip after this end of the cable is inserted.
