I really wanted something that allowed for pretty much any monster health value, being easy to assemble, fit within the hex size so monsters don't hit one another when swarming, and wouldn't change values accidentally while moving them around the map. </p><p>Plus they look kinda like little Christmas trees and thats fun.</p><p>There are probably ways to avoid printing as many pieces, but this is working for me now. Using eSun PLA+ results in a nice click/ratchet sound when changing the health value.</p><p>For a regular stand, print a top, a tall base, each ring, and two gears. </p><p>If you prefer a smaller footprint with a shorter base, print a top, a short base, either ring, and one gear. In that case you would need to supplement most monster health pools by affixing additional health tokens (e.g. get one of those H clips with a 10 damage token to represent the monster having 10 health). For me it's just easier to use the full size, but YMMV.</p><p>I made it in Sketchup and included the original if anyone feels like improving it.</p></div>
