50mm Magnetic LINAC Model

The basis of this remix is the Linear Accelerator visualisation aid by countrybunker on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1804228

Modifications:

1. Scaled down so floor is 50mm wide.
2. Combined the Gantry and articulating Source, Panel, and relative arms into a single object.
3. Combined the Wall and Floor into a single object.
4. Redesigned the connection for the Couch and Turntable into a post-hole design, I find this easier to glue.
   • The Couch requires gluing to the Turntable once in place with the Floor.
   • Take care to not glue the Couch or Turntable to the floor!
   • I find only a drop of superglue gel is needed on the top of the Turntable post.
5. Each 50mm LINAC model requires four (4) 8x3mm neodymium magnets for articulation of Gantry and ColHead.

Print orientation recommendations:

1. Wall_and_Floor: on its back (no supports needed)
2. Turntable: right side up (no supports needed)
3. Couch: on its back (no supports needed)
4. Gantry: on its back (SUPPORTS REQUIRED)
5. ColHead: upside down (no supports needed)

Support recommendations:

Gantry (on its back): recommend double walled organic supports.

1. on Panel and Source.
2. on bottom center of where each arm connects to gantry.
3. within hole for magnet at back of gantry that is now on build plate.

Printed in Overture PLA, 0.12mm layer height.
