BRIO × LEGO modular platform car with swiveling bogies

Modular BRIO-compatible car with swiveling bogies and LEGO-compatible platform.

Depending on your printer resolution and precision you can choose between two LEGO platforms:

• 4.81mm joint diameter (LEGO bricks fit loosely)
• 4.91mm joint diameter (LEGO bricks fit tightly)

LEGO platform is intended to be attached with magnets, but if you don't want detachable platform you can glue both parts together.

Couplers use 5mm diameter spherical neodymium magnets (like NeoCube). Use another magnet to install them so that on one bogie "N" pole faces outside and on the other bogie "S" pole is on the outside. A dab of cyanoacrylate glue will help to hold them firmly in place.

Assembly needs some force. This is intended, so children wouldn't be able to detach small parts from the toy.

Couplers need raft due to their small diameter. Also bogie axes need some support.

You can replace the platform with your own. Dimensions attached.
