Summary

This is a B-24D or B-24G Waist Gun Wind Deflector as seen on many WWII photos. This was scaled for a 1/16.7 scale Flightline B-24D from Motion RC which is foam. There is plenty of support to glue directly onto the fuselage. Flys great with the windows cut out, which I was concerned with but turns out to be nothing.

After it prints, You can use some heat to add some subtle curve to it to be more realistic. A bit of sanding to smooth the edges, some filler Primer and paint and it looks the part.</p></div>
