Summary

Depending on your printers capabilities, printing this chain cover in an industrial setting works best with PP(Polypropylene). Off of my Ender 3 v2 with linear rails on the xyz, a sprite pro extruder, a PP bedplate, and an enclosure, the PP works amazing for industrial use. Say you don't want the 80 chain to scar whatever is being carried on them and you just want a cheap solution, well here you go! Also it prints flawlessly on the BambuLab X1-C.

Cost Of Name Brand Covers

            <div><p>So we have been using a name brand chain cover for our 80 chain and every single time we would go and put them on they would pop off and break very quickly, and with them costing $10 a piece for a half link I thought there was a better way. So i took the old design and than made my own changes making it the full link cover and costing only $0.26 a piece as I'm using BambuLabs PLA Tough and its working great. So the main thing is, I didnt want to keep having us spend $10 just to have it pop off and break where as my design is nice and tight and holds on.</p></div>
