magnetic plume holder for use on a steel helmet. Insert 2 18x3mm (max size) neodymium magnets into the slot and close it off with hotglue. Then add hotglue into the big hole and push in the feathers (or other things) you want to use. Paint the holder in a non metallic colour to make it not stand out on a real steel helmet. Works perfectly even in heavy wind.
